Goff Lake, Michigan in 1998

The photos above were taken by someone who lives not far away from Goff Lake in Cass County, Michigan. The land directly across the lake (Goff Lake), shown in the top picture, is where our own Goff family lived for a couple of decades beginning in the late 1830s - Some Goff family members still live in the area. Unfortunately we cannot find the name of the person who sent us this picture and the flowers.

The same person who took the photographs above sent these flowery "weeds" she picked from the grass under her feet in this same place. The flowers, taped to cardboard by the person whose name we may have lost are still around and were photographed today - March 25, 2009
