1930s - Alice and some other family members. We wish we knew who they all were (family, no doubt). Some are related to us, and some are in-laws. Probably all the kids are related. It was no doubt taken in Iowa at a 4th of July family reunion in the twenties, during a period that John Vincent and Helen (Thompson) Regan and their four kids were in San Diego - Before they came back to Iowa (they came back two or three times before finally staying in San Diego). That is probably Alice Regan with the tie around her neck, sitting just behind the boy's bare feet on the left side of the picture. This picture was among her belongings when she died. Here are guesses about some of the people. A few seem pretty sure. Helen (Regan) Stone does not recognize these people except for her Grandma and Grandpa Regan. Even the one that may be Uncle Roy may not be him. She did think the one that may be her cousin Louise could be her (but she's not sure). Some kids may be in Uncle Frank's family, but others may be in the Gilichrist family but not the Regan family -- we are descended from both families. None of the kids belong to John Vincent Regan, though -- that we know. (Click on this picture, and the one above, to see in larger size).
