Mrs. C. H. Regan Mrs. Charles H. Regan, 66, died at her home, 701 south Seventeenth street, early this morning following a lingering illness. Born in LaSalle, Ill., Mrs. Regan had lived in Fort Dodge for the past thirty-four years. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mary Elizabeth, Thomas Leroy, Charles Francis, James Allen and John Vincent, all of this city. She had seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nellie Maher of Lake Mills, Mrs. Agnes Mitchell of Watertown, S.D., and Mrs. Mary Carney of Mason City are her sisters and B. J. Gilchrist of this city is a brother. A sister, Mrs. John Broderick, preceded her in death. Funeral services will take place Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the home and at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart church. The body will be at the Laufersweller Undertaking parlors until late this afternoon, when it will be taken to the home. _______________
FUNERAL RITES Funeral services for Mrs Charles H. Regan were held Friday morning at 8:30 at the home, 701 south Seventeenth street, and at 9 o'clock at Sacret Heart church. The pallbearers were Martin Carr, Lewis Martin, Ernest Jones, John Walsh, J. J. Barton, and Dennis Leary. Relatives from away who came for the funeral were Mrs. Nellie J. Mahar, a sister, and John Maher, of Lake Mills; Mrs. Margaret Gallagher, of Hastings, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Broderick, of Newton; Dr. C. E. Broderick, of Cherokee; Mrs. Mary Carney, a sister, and family, Leo, Thomas, Loretta and Mrs. Margaret McLaughlin of Mason City; Mrs. Peter Mitchell, a sister, and daughters, Mrs. Ray Halling and Mrs. Alice Evans, of Watertown; Herbert Gilchrist, of Minneapolis, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Martin, of Farnhamville. |
